Defenseman Michal Rozsival will make his season debut for the Blackhawks on Monday night against the Flames coach Joel Quenneville said.
Rozsival was left out in each of the first six games of the Hawks.
“We want everyone in at some point,” said Quenneville. “We do not want to wait too long to get it into the season here. It may be useful, gives us some experience and can play minutes against the top guys. “
Michal Kempny is probably zero.
Vincent Hinostroza is also likely a scratch for the third consecutive game. Hinostroza said coaches told him he needs to play with the puck more when it comes to programming.
“This is my game, playing with the puck, playing with speed,” Hinostroza said. “The first couple of games was kind to enter, just chipping in when I had time and I might have tried to make games. I think that’s just a learning curve here.”
Flames come to town with several former Hawks team, including Kris Versteeg, Michael Frolik and Troy Brouwer.
